LexAgent reads the official Dutch and European legal sources: legislation, local regulations, case law, parliamentary papers, council records and EU law. Use it in our Workspace, or in the AI you already use.

Workspace
Your case file, checked against the source
For anyone who checks or writes letters, decisions and contracts. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install.
The Workspace screens are in Dutch. Ask in English and the assistant answers in English.
- Add your document to a case file Word, PDF or a scan. The file stays in your browser. You first replace names, addresses and numbers with labels like [Person 1].
- The assistant searches the sources Through LexAgent, on the reference date you choose. At every step you see where it searched.
- Every claim gets a verdict Correct, incorrect, doubtful or not verifiable, marked in your document, with the article to read for yourself.
-
Search in plain language Describe the situation the way your client tells it. LexAgent finds the articles and rulings that deal with it, even if you don't know yet which law covers it. It searches all Dutch legislation in force, article by article, and more than 900,000 rulings, with a search model we trained ourselves on Dutch statutes and case law.
-
Check An objection, decision, legal opinion or data processing agreement: every legal claim marked, with the article to read for yourself.
-
Write A reply letter, memo or exam case with a source after every legal sentence. Export to Word or PDF, with footnotes.
-
Sources that change When an article your case file relies on changes, you see it, along with exactly what changed.
-
Long documents Choose which chapters to check and jump to what you need through the table of contents. Scanned PDFs too, with text recognition in your browser.
-
Personal data out Before the assistant reads a document, you review what the Workspace found: names, addresses, citizen service numbers (BSN), IBANs, phone numbers. The model only gets labels like [Person 1]. Your own screen and your downloads show the real data.
- Your documents stay with you. They live in your own browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
- A reference date in every answer. The law as it stood on the date you choose.
- Hosted in the EU. The language model of the free version runs in Europe too.

The sources in Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent
LexAgent is an MCP server. Connect it once and your assistant searches and reads the sources itself, instead of guessing from its training data. Watch the demo, a minute and a half in ChatGPT.
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste this URL:
https://lexagent.nl/mcp- Sign in with your LexAgent account and grant access. Works in Claude on the web, the desktop app and mobile.
- Open LexAgent in ChatGPT and add the plugin.
- Sign in with your LexAgent account and grant access. LexAgent is then available in every chat.
Plugins turned off in your ChatGPT workspace? Create a connector yourself under Settings → Apps & Connectors with OAuth authentication and this URL:
https://lexagent.nl/mcp- Add LexAgent from your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http lexagent https://lexagent.nl/mcp- Start Claude Code, type
/mcpand sign in with your LexAgent account.
- Add an MCP server with the Streamable HTTP transport, for example in
mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"lexagent": { "type": "http", "url": "https://lexagent.nl/mcp" }

- Sign-in uses OAuth with dynamic client registration; any client that follows the MCP specification handles that itself.
